BlueVine said Nov. 19 that it raised $102.5 million in a Series F round of funding led by ION Crossover Partners. New investors included MUFG Innovation Partners Co Ltd, O.G. Tech - Eyal Ofer’s VC, Vintage Investment Partners, ION Group, Maor Investments and additional private investors. Also participating were all major existing investors, including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Menlo Ventures, 83North, SVB Capital, Nationwide, Citi Ventures, Microsoft’s venture fund, M12, and private investors. BlueVine provides small business banking.
San Francisco-based Bolt, an electric bike delivery company, has raised $2.5 million in seed funding. Maniv Mobility led the round with participation from other investors that included Contrarian Ventures.
Las Vegas-based Freedom Leaf, a hemp consumer packaged goods company, has secured $5 million in funding. The lead investor was Merida Capital. The capital will be used for Freedom Leaf's production, marketing and sales efforts.
Santa Clara, California-based Nuvia, a silicon design company, has raised $53 million in Series A funding. Capricorn Investment Group, Dell Technologies Capital, Mayfield and WRVI Capital led the round with participation from Nepenthe LLC.
UK-based Wayve, a self-driving car startup, has secured $20 million in Series A funding. Eclipse Ventures led the round with participation from Balderton Capital.
Lalilo, a French edtech startup, has secured $5.5 million in funding. The investors were Partech, EduCapital and Citizen Capital.
Tel Aviv-based Viisights, a developer of behavioral understanding systems for real-time video intelligence, has secured US$10 million in Series A funding. Canadian venture firm Awz Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Firstime Ventures. The capital will be used for sales expansion, establishing a global presence, product enhancements and new product developments.
StimAire, a medical device company focused on treating sleep apnea, has secured an undisclosed amount of funding. The investor was UAVenture Capital Fund.
Toronto-based Winterlight Labs Inc, a developer of artificial intelligence to help healthcare professionals assess and analyze patients' cognitive health, has secured C$5.6 million in funding. Hikma Ventures, the venture capital arm of Hikma Pharmaceuticals PLC, led the round. Other investors that participated in the round included First Star Ventures, Pacific Health Ventures and Grey Sky Venture Partners.
Chicago-based 2ndKitchen, a food tech startup, has closed its seed funding round at $4.35 million. The investors include Hyde Park Venture Partners, MATH Venture Partners, Great North Labs, Bragiel Brothers and M25.
