CrossBorder Solutions, a provider of technology-driven tax solutions, has secured $40 million in Series B funding. Insight Partners led the round.
South San Francisco-based Amphivena Therapeutics Inc, a developer of T cell engager therapeutics for cancer, has raised $62 million in Series C financing. NanoDimension and Qiming Venture Partners USA led the round.
Paris-based FeetMe, a medical device company, has raised 9.4 million euros in Series A funding. LBO France led the round with participation from Kurma Diagnostics, Paris Saclay seed fund, Idinvest Partners, Seventure and SOSV.
San Francisco-based Fundbox, a B2B payments and credit network, has raised US$176 million in Series C funding. Also, the company has secured a US$150 million credit facility. Investors in the Series C round included Allianz X, Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan, HarbourVest, 9Yards Capital, Hamilton Lane, SEB Private Equity (on behalf of clients), Cathay Innovation, Synchrony, MUFG Innovation Partners Co., Ltd., Recruit Strategic Partners, GMO Internet Group and Arbor Ventures. Other participants in the round were Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst and Spark Capital Growth.
Toronto-based ODAIA, an AI SaaS startup, has secured $1.6 million in funding. Panache Ventures and StandUp Ventures led the round with participation from BDC Capital’s Women in Technology Venture Fund, Inovia Capital and MaRS IAF. This new group of investors joins pre-seed investors that include Toronto Innovation Acceleration Partners, University of Toronto’s UTEST, N49P, Ontario Centres of Excellence and Amar Varma, co-founder of Autonomic.ai (acquired by Ford). The capital infusion will be used to make key technical hires, support early customers and prepare for the public launch of ODAIA’s AI SaaS platform.
Plum, a Chinese online marketplace for used fashion and luxury products, has secured $20 million in funding. Siguler Guff led the round with participation from Recruit.
Lumasol, a health technology company, has secured $3 million in seed funding. The investors were Pathfinder at Founders Fund and Greycroft Ventures.
KannaSwiss, a provider of European CBD products, has secured $5.5 million in funding. The investor was Altitude Investment Management plc.
Woburn, Massachusetts-based Curamir Therapeutics, a biotech firm, has secured $10 million in Series A funding. The investor was Delos Capital.
Los Angeles-based Future State Brands, a cannabis-focused consumer goods and marketing company, has secured $25 million in funding. Cresco Capital led the round.
