KNØX, a provider of a digital asset custody service for institutions and fiduciaries with comprehensive insurance coverage, has raised US$6.2 million in funding. Initialized and iNovia led the round with participation from Fidelity Investments Canada, FJ Labs and Ferst Capital. KNØX is based in Montreal.
Kheiron Medical Technologies, an applied science company focused on supporting cancer diagnostics with machine learning, has raised $22 million in Series A funding. Atomico led the round with participation from Connect Ventures, Greycroft, Hoxton Ventures and EXOR Seeds. As part of this investment, Atomico Principal Irina Haivas will join Kheiron's board.
Sweetgreen, a fast casual restaurant chain, has raised $150 million in financing. Lone Pine Capital and D1 Capital Partners led the round.
Fiddler Labs, a provider of a next-generation explainable AI engine, has secured $10.2 million in Series A funding. Lightspeed Venture Partners and Lux Capital led this round with participation from Haystack Ventures and Bloomberg Beta.
Securitize, a solution for issuing and managing compliant digital securities on the blockchain, has secured $14 million in funding. The backers included Banco Santander through its venture capital arm, Santander InnoVentures, MUFG via its corporate venture capital subsidiary, MUFG Innovation Partners and Nomura Holdings.
Koyfin, a data visualization investment research platform, has secured $3 million in funding. The investors included Craft Ventures, Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners and Social Leverage.
California and Nebraska-based Cowbell Cyber, a provider of artificial intelligence-powered cyber insurance for small to mid-sized businesses, has secured $3.3 million in seed funding. The investors included ManchesterStory Group, Holmes Murphy & Associates, Tri-Valley Ventures and the Global Insurance Accelerator.
Australia-based Immutable, a builder of video games, has secured $15 million in Series A funding. Naspers Ventures led the round.
Campbell, California-based Workspot, a cloud-native Desktop-as-a Service company, has raised $19 million in funding. The investors were not named.
Manticore Games, a developer of video computer games, has raised $30 million in Series B financing. The investors included Frederic Descamps and Jordan Maynard.
