Pasadena, California-based X1, a software company, has raised $5.1 million in Series B funding. Palisades Growth Capital led the round.
Paygilant, an Israel-based fraud protection company for mobile payments, has secured $750,000 in funding. The investor was Connecticut Innovations.
Atlanta-based ControlRad Inc, a medical tech company, has raised $15 million in Series B funding. Questa Capital led the round with participation from Rapha Capital Management LLC.
Georgia-based SaaSOptics, a subscription management platform for emerging and growth B2B SaaS and subscription-based businesses, has secured $12 million in Series B funding. Fulcrum Equity Partners led the round.
Wilmington, North Carolina-based nCino, a provider of cloud-based bank operating solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding. T. Rowe Price Associates led the round with participation from return backer Salesforce Ventures.
Canopy Rivers, the venture capital arm of Canadian cannabis producer Canopy Growth Corp, has invested US$10 million in TerrAscend Canada Inc, a subsidiary of its portfolio company TerrAscend Corp. TerrAscend is a Toronto-based cannabis business. Canopy Rivers, along with Canopy Growth Corporation, first invested in TerrAscend in November 2017.
Meditrina Inc, a women's healthcare company, has raised $13 million in financing. ShangBay Capital LLC and Aethan Capital Inc led the round.
Chicago-based NOCD, a digital behavioral health company, has secured $4 million in Series A funding. Chicago Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included 7Wire Ventures, Meridian Street Capital and Hyde Park Angels.
Silicon Valley-based Percipient.ai, an artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision firm, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series B funding. The investors were Lupa Systems, Venrock and Valor Equity Partners.
LEX, a commercial real estate securities marketplace, has secured $4 million in seed financing. Greycroft and Thor Equities led the round.
