Paris-based Herow, a contextual engagement platform for mobile applications, has raised $18.6 million in Series B funding. The investors were Xerys Fund, Siparex and Calao Finance.
Provivi Inc, an emerging crop protection company, has raised $85 million in Series C financing. Pontifax Global Food and Agriculture Fund led the round.
Farmington, Connecticut-based Azitra Inc, a clinical-stage medical dermatology company addressing serious skin conditions by harnessing the microbiome, has raised $14 million in Series A financing. KdT Ventures and Bios Partners led the round with participation from Connecticut Innovations and Godfrey Capital.
Boston-based Building Engines, an operations platform for commercial real estate owners, operators and occupants, has raised $12.7 million in funding. Wavecrest Growth Partners led the round with participation from River Cities Capital Funds, MassMutual Ventures and Camber Creek Ventures.
Lexington, Massachusetts-based Cyteir Therapeutics, a developer of next-generation synthetic lethal therapies for cancer, has secured $40.2 million in Series B funding. Novo Holdings led the round with participation from Venrock, DROIA Oncology Ventures, Osage University Partners, Lightstone Ventures and Celgene Corporation. As part of this closing, Dr. Karen Hong of Novo Ventures will join the Cyteir board.
Algolia said Oct. 15 that it raised $110 million in funding led by existing investor Accel. Salesforce Ventures and other firms also participated. Algoria is a Search-as-a-Service platform.
Rho Business, a New York-based digital business banking platform for high-growth companies, has raised $4.9 million in seed funding. Alexa Von Tobel of Inspired Capital led the round.
Radius Networks, a technology company that uses its machine learning location platform to help businesses conduct location-based transactions with their customers, has secured $15 million in Series A financing. The investors included Contour Venture Partners and Core Capital Partners.
FMX, a cloud-based facilities and maintenance management platform, has secured an undisclosed amount of funding. The investor was Five Elms Capital.
UK-based Mogrify, a provider of internal cell therapy programs, has secured $16 million in funding. Ahren Innovation Capital led the round.
