California-based TOCA Football Inc, a soccer-focused and technology-enabled experience company, has secured $25 million in Series D funding. The investors included WestRiver Group and RNS Partners. Portico Capital was financial adviser on this transaction.
Faire, a wholesale marketplace that connects independent retailers and makers, raised $150 million in Series D funding, according to a Medium blog post. Lightspeed Venture Partners and Founders Fund led the round.
Alice Technologies, an AI-based simulation platform for construction, has secured $8 million in Series A funding. Merus Capital led the round with participation from Foundamental, Blackhorn Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
League Inc, an enterprise health operating system, has secured an undisclosed amount of funding. The investors include Workday Ventures. League has offices in Toronto and Chicago.
San Francisco-based Datameer, a provider of data preparation and exploration solution, has raised $40 million in funding. ST Telemedia led the round with participation from Redpoint Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Nextworld Capital, Citi Ventures and Top Tier Capital Partners.
Albuquerque, New Mexico-based mPower Technology, a solar cell technology startup, has raised $2.5 million in Series A funding. The investors included Sun Mountain Capital.
Washington, D.C.-based Socially Determined, a healthcare technology startup, has raised over $7.3 million in Series A funding. The investors include Ziegler Link-Age Funds, ProMedica, 3M, OSF HealthCare and LRVHealth.
Walnut, California-based BURST Oral Care, a subscription oral care company, has secured $20 million in funding. The investors include Volition Capital.
San Francisco-based Fountain, a recruiting platform for gig and hourly workers, has raised $23 million in Series B funding. DCM led the round with participation from other investors that included Origin Ventures and Uncork Capital.
St. Louis-based PierianDx, a clinical genomics informatics company, has raised $27 million in Series B funding. ATW Partners and SJF Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Health Catalyst Capital, Inova Health Systems, RTI International and ARUP Laboratories.
