Boston-based PathAI, a provider of AI-powered research tools and services for pathology, has raised $75 million in Series B funding. The investors include Merck Global Health Innovation Fund and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
San Francisco-based Kover.ai, an insurance startup, has secured $1.5 million in seed funding. West Loop Venture led the round with participation from Afore Capital and Techstars Ventures.
Santa Clara, California-based Volterra, a newly launched provider of distributed cloud services, has raised over $50 million in funding. The investors include Khosla Ventures, Mayfield. M12, Itochu Technology Ventures and Samsung NEXT.
New York City-based Healthify, a healthcare company, has raised $16 million in Series B financing. The investors included SV Health Investors and BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners.
Los Angeles-based Boulevard, a platform-as-a-service provider for beauty service brands, has raised $11 million in Series A funding. Index Ventures led the round with participation from Bonfire Ventures, Ludlow Ventures, BoxGroup and Luma Launch.
Montreal-based RenoRun, a technology-enabled construction material delivery service company, has secured C$22.5 million in Series A funding. Inovia Capital and Obvious Ventures led the round with participation from ScaleUp Ventures, Real Ventures, Maple VC and Silicon Valley Bank. The capital infusion will be used to scale RenoRun's business in each of the cities that the company operates as well as for personnel hiring.
New York and Israel-based Centrical, a provider of employee engagement and performance management solutions, has raised $13 million in funding. Aleph and Jerusalem Venture Partners led the round.
Medford, Massachusetts-based Inkbit, a 3D printing company, has secured $12 million in financing. Stratasys and DSM Venturing, the venture capital arm of Royal DSM, led the round.
BuildOps, a provider of a field service and business process software platform for small and medium-sized subcontractors in the commercial real estate industry, has secured $5.8 million in seed funding. BuildOps' investors include Fika Ventures, MetaProp VC, Global Founders Capital, CrossCut Ventures, TenOneTen, IGSB, 1984 Ventures, L2 Ventures, GroundUp and Wolfson Group.
UK-based Cervest, an earth science AI company, has secured 3.7 million pounds in funding. Future Positive Capital and Astanor Ventures led the round.
