Wappier, an intelligent revenue management platform for apps and businesses, has secured $4 million in seed funding. Counterview Capital led the round.
Canada and Fairfax, Virginia-based Two Hat Security, a provider of AI-powered content moderation solutions, has raised C$7.5 million in new funding. Tam Holdings led the round with participation from Makers Fund and Taubman Capital. The capital will be used to grow Two Hat’s team, ramp up marketing and customer acquisition and develop additional capabilities in Two Hat’s platform.
SonoMotion, a medical device startup, has secured $10 million in Series B funding. The investors were Advanced MedTech Holdings, MedVenture Partners Inc and BioVentures Investors.
Orlando, Florida and India-based Kore.ai, a conversational AI platform provider, has secured growth capital from Vancouver, British Columbia-based Vistara Capital Partners. The capital infusion will be used to advance Kore.ai's technology for the enterprise sector and accelerate its global growth initiatives. Marlin & Associates served as strategic and financial adviser to Kore.ai for this transaction.
London and New York City-based Cutover, a cloud-enabled work orchestration and observability platform, has secured $17 million in Series A funding. Index Ventures led the round.
Chicago-based Threekit, a product visualization software platform, has secured $20 million in Series A funding. Shasta Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Salesforce Ventures and former San Francisco 49ers Hall of Famer Steve Young. Threekit has a technology innovation centre in Ottawa.
Xact Robotics, an Israel-based provider of robotics navigation and steering solutions for percutaneous image-guided procedure, has secured $36 million in funding. The investors included Chasing Value Asset Management Inc.
Palo Alto, California-based Orbital Insight, a provider of geospatial analytics software, has raised $50 million in Series D financing. Sequoia Capital and Clearvision Ventures led the round.
Seattle and Atlanta-based Convoy, a digital freight network, has secured $400 million in Series D funding. Generation Investment Management and T. Rowe Price Associates Inc led the round.
CIBC Innovation Banking, the tech lending arm of Canadian bank CIBC, has provided US$16 million to Fort Collins, Colorado-based Madwire, a provider of software and services for small-to-medium-sized businesses. Also, CIBC provided a US$6 million loan to back Madwire's acquisition of Austin-based SpaceCraft, a cloud-based website development and management platform.
