Mattress Firm, a Houston, Texas-based mattress retailer recently acquired by J.W. Childs Associates, has agreed to buy Mattress Discounters Corp., an Upper Marlboro, Md.-based mattress retailer and manufacturer with more than 140 stores across the Northeast.
