Citi has agreed to acquire hedge and private equity fund manager Old Lane, which will operate as part of Citi Alternative Investments (CAI). No financial terms were disclosed. Piper Jaffray Cos. has agreed to acquire Fiduciary Asset Management LLC (FAMCO), a St. Louis-based investment management firm with approximately 50 employees and $9 billion in assets under management.
