Pamplona Capital Management has completed its previously announced acquisition of Charter NEX Films Inc from Mason Wells. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Milton, Wisconsin, Charter NEX is a a maker of polyethylene films. Houlihan Lokey Capital advised Charter NEX on the transaction.

Nautic Partners LLC has agreed to buy Compton, California-based IPS Corp, which provides solvent cements, specialty plumbing products and specialty adhesives. No financial terms were disclosed. GE Capital and LStar Capital provided financing for the deal while Robert W. Baird & Co. served as financial advisor to IPS.
Malaysia's IHH Healthcare Bhd and U.S. private equity firm TPG Capital Management are vying to buy a controlling stake in India's Global Hospitals in a deal that would value the privately owned chain at $350 million, sources told Reuters.
Centerbridge Partners has closed its previously announced buy of IPC Systems, a Jersey City, New Jersey-based provider of network services and trading communication technology for the financial markets. No financial terms were disclosed although previous reports said the price of the transaction would be about $1.2 billion. The seller was Silver Lake Partners. Evercore and Goldman Sachs advised IPC while Barclays and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC advised Centerbridge.
International Finance Corp (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has provided funding to Off Grid Electric, a Tanzanian solar leasing company. The IFC Cleantech Innovation Facility committed a US$4.5 million loan to the company. In addition, Cordiant Capital, a Canadian private equity and debt investor in emerging markets, committed a US$2.5 million loan. Off Grid Electric is a provider of home solar electric systems to consumers in rural and urban Tanzania. It plans to reach 200,000 households in the country by 2015.
