MediaWhiz, a New York-based provider of performance-based online marketing services, has acquired Online Media Promotions LLC (a.k.a. Monetizeit), an Atlanta-based provider of online lead generation. WebTrends Inc., a Portland, Ore.-based provider of Web analytics, has acquired ClickShift Inc., a San Bruno, Calif.-based provider of online advertising optimization solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. WebTrends is owned by Francisco Partners.
