NEW YORK, June 20 (Reuters) - Private equity firm Warburg Pincus is seeking to sell Camp Systems International, a software provider for business aircraft that could be worth $500 million to $600 million, three people familiar with the matter said. Credit Suisse will advise on the sale of Camp Systems, which has about $60 million in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) and could go for about 10 times EBITDA, two of these people said....
The Carlyle Group is exclusive talks to acquire digital set-top box maker Sagemcom from the Gores Group, Reuters reported. Under the terms of the deal being discussed, Carlyle would take a 70% stake, with Sagemom’s management and employees holding the remaining 30%, Reuters said. Financial details of the deal were not released.

Sun Capital Partners recapitalized its Exopack Holding Corp., packaging company. The recapitalization transaction included a private placement for $235 million at 10% due 2018 and a six-year $350 senior secured term loan facility. Mesirow Financial advised Exopack in the transaction.
The Employee Retirement System of Texas, the state pension with roughly $22 billion in assets under management and nearly 200,000 active and retired members, has picked Wesley W. Gipson to serve as its new director of private equity, peHUB has learned from multiple sources. ERS of Texas declined to comment for this story. Gipson has been with ERS of Texas for a while; he came there in 2009 after spending five years with the Aurora Group. Gipson also worked for Procter & Gamble’s corporate finance division....

Sun Capital Partners, the Florida-based private equity firm, acquired the assets of Vitro America via a 363 bankruptcy sale. Vitro America, which serves construction and auto replacement markets with architectural glass and aluminum products, is based in Memphis, Tennessee. Aaron Wolfe, Principal at Sun Capital Partners, worked on the transaction for the private equity firm. Specifics were not publicized.

DH Capital said it advised iWeb Group in its recent sale of a majority stake to Novacap. In May, iWeb announced that Novacap had bought a majority of the web hosting firm. The transaction reportedly valued iWeb at roughly $47 million. Novacap is a Canadian VC and PE firm.
