Lucky Bucks, a portfolio company of Quantum International Income Corporation and operator of skill-based gaming terminals, closed a new credit facility to refinance the structured capital investment from Trive Capital and finance for future acquisitions.  In 2016, Trive provided capital and partnered with Lucky Bucks.
Highland Capital Partners led $16 million in funding for RapidSOS, an emergency technology company. Microsoft Ventures and CSAA Insurance Group also participated.
Tiger Global led a $17 million Series A funding for Green Bits, a retail management and automated compliance platform for cannabis dispensaries and retailers. Casa Verde Capital and other investors participated. The round brings Green Bit's total outside funding to $19.3 million.
Water Street Healthcare Partners and JLL Partners acquired Triplefin, which delivers patient support. Triplefin's management team will stay the same through the acquisition. Financial details were not being disclosed. 
KSL Capital Partners acquired Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, an oceanfront resort and entertainment destination in Florida. Davidson Hotels & Resorts was named manager of the resort after working alongside KSL during the acquisition process. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Stellex Capital Management acquired Fenix Parts, recycler and reseller of OEM automotive product. Bill Stevens, an executive with experience in the auto recycling industry, will serve as CEO of the new enterprise. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed
Michael Haas joined Latham & Watkins as a partner in the finance department and member of the real estate practice. Haas will serve as a global co-chair of Latham’s real estate practice. He is joining from Jones Day, where he co-led the firm’s real estate practice.
Steven De Troyer joined Fortino Capital as investment director and will be sourcing and driving new investments and the performance of its portfolio companies. De Troyer started in London in the M&A departments of ING and UBS. In 2012 he worked for Gimv supporting growth plans of companies in the consumer sector.
Rock Gate Partners acquired Auto Body Toolmart, a manufacturer and distributor of supplies to auto shops, technical schools and automotive costumers. The acquisition was made by Rock Gate's Whitewater Brands platform that is owned in partnership with Peninsula Capital Partners. Rock Gate intends to expand Whitewater's business. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Sterling Partners and the State of Maryland’s TEDCO fund raised Series A funding for Cerebro Capital, an online platform that helps companies analyze, manage and source their corporate credit facilities. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
