Shamrock Capital Advisors LLC closed Shamrock Capital Growth Fund IV LP at $700 million. Fund IV will focus on buyout and growth capital investments in companies within the media, entertainment and communications industries. Shamrock targets investments between $20 million to $100 million in both control and non-control transactions.

Blackstone announced that funds it manages entered into an agreement to acquire a retirement village portfolio in New Zealand from Lendlease. The portfolio comprises five fully completed villages, four in Auckland and one in Mt Maunganui. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Based in Boyne City, Michigan, IMI Holdings is the parent company of Industrial Magnetics Inc, Prater Industries Inc and Sterling Controls Inc.
