Sightway Capital, the PE arm of Two Sigma Investments, raised $1.2 billion for its first PE fund, the Wall Street Journal reported. Sightway Capital I LP will focus on financial services and real estate, the story said.
Clayton, Dubilier & Rice said Nov. 20 that it agreed to buy Cynosure LLC from Hologic Inc. In a separate release, Hologic said the total purchase price was $205 million cash, subject to certain closing adjustments. Cynosure makes and markets aesthetic treatment systems for dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medical spas, and other healthcare practitioners.

Broadridge Financial Solutions Inc said Nov. 20 that it acquired ClearStructure Financial Technology. Financial terms weren’t announced. ClearStructure Financial Technology provides portfolio management solutions for the private debt markets.
Marlin Equity Partners has completed its buy of Wax Digital. Financial terms weren’t announced. Wax Digital, of London, provides sourcing and procurement solutions. August Equity acquired Wax Digital in 2015, according to PitchBook.
Neon Pagamentos said Nov. 19 that it raised R$400 million ($95.3 million) in a Series B round led by General Atlantic and Banco Votorantim. Also investing were venture capital funds Monashees, Omidyar Network, Propel, Quona and Mabi, and existing Series A investors. Neon Pagamentos, of São Paulo, is a Brazailian fintech.
Tissum said Nov. 20 that it raised 38.75 million euros ($42.78 million) in a series B round of funding. New investors include BNP Paribas Développement, the European Investment Fund (EIF), M&L Investments, ValQuest Partners, while TISSIUM’s returning investors were Bpifrance, CM-CIC Innovation, Cap Décisif Management, Omnes Capital and Sofinnova Partners. Tissium, of Paris, is life sciences company aiming to develop and commercialize a biopolymer platform to address various unmet clinical needs.
