Omaha, Nebraska-based Cosentry said Tuesday that it has named Brad Hokamp as its new CEO. Hokamp will also join the company's board of directors.Previously, Hokamp worked for Savvis as a senior vice president and general manager of the hosting and colocation business unit. Cosentry, a portfolio company of TA Associates, is a provider of data solutions.
Movable Ink, a New York-based provider of email marketing technology, said Tuesday that it has named Jason Valdina as vice president of product. In this new role, Valdina will lead Movable Ink’s design and development efforts as well as product strategy. Movable Ink is backed by Intel Capital, Contour Venture Partners, Metamorphic Ventures, ff Ventures, Kima Ventures, Bob Pittman, Andy Russell, Josh Baer, and Alan Laifer.
Prospect Capital Corp. said Monday that it recently provided financing to support the recapitalization of Traeger Pellet Grills by Trilantic Capital Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Wilsonville, Oregon, Traeger is a provider of wood pellet grills, wood pellets and grilling accessories. Also, Prospect recently provided financing to support the recapitalization of an unidentified private-equity owned company in the consumer services sector.
RSI Home Products said Monday that Thomas Chieffe will become the company's CEO, effective July 15, 2013. Previously, Chieff was an operating executive at private equity firm Oak Tree Capital. RSI is a maker of bathroom and kitchen products.
Blackstone said Monday that it is relocating Sean Madnani, senior managing director of Blackstone Advisory Partners, to the firm’s office in Menlo Park, Calif. In his new role, Madnani, who was based in Boston, will lead Blackstone’s technology M & A practice on the West Coast and Asia. He joins Ivan Brockman, senior managing director of Blackstone Advisory Partners and founder of Blackstone’s Menlo Park office.

EMC Corp. said Monday that it has acquired Aveksa. No financial terms were disclosed. Headquartered in Waltham, Mass., Aveksa, which was backed by Charles River Ventures, FirstMark Capital and FTV Capital, is a provider of business-driven identity and access management solutions.
Mformation Software Technologies, a portfolio company of Clearlake Capital Partners, said Monday that it has named David Shimoni as executive vice president of global sales and business development. Previously, Shimoni served as executive vice president of global sales for Funambol. Headquartered in Edison, NJ, Mformation is a provider of management solutions for wireless devices.
Praesidian Capital, a provider of mezzanine capital for small and mid-sized companies, said Monday that it led a $7.5 million subordinated debt investment in Meta Pharmaceutical Services. The financing is to support Meta's merger with NexGen RxMarketing. Previously, Praesidian made a $6 million subordinated debt investment in Meta in its recapitalization by DFW Capital Partners and management. Headquartered in Blue Bell, Penn., Meta is a provider of database management, sales analytics and direct marketing services to pharmaceutical companies. NexGen is a provider of digital marketing platforms for pharmaceutical brand teams.
Behrman Capital said Monday that its portfolio company Data Device Corp., a provider of data communication and control technology, has acquired National Hybrid from API Technologies Corp. for $32.5 million. Headquartered in Bohemia, NY, National Hybrid is a provider of military standard data networking technology.
