Seaport Capital has acquired DSA Mission Critical Services from DSA Encore. No financial terms were disclosed. Headquartered in Brookfield, Conn., MCS is a provider of preventative maintenance and emergency service programs for mission critical facilities in North America.

Mid Europa Partners, a private equity firm focused on buyouts in Central and Eastern Europe as well as Turkey, said Monday that it has acquired Polskie Koleje Linowe S.A. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Poland, PKL is a cable car and ski slope service provider.

Starwood Retail Partners said Monday that it has made three additions to its leadership team in its Chicago office. Tim Lordan has been named senior vice president of asset management IR/JV reporting while Jeff Dyrda is now director of accounting. Also, Steve Barnthouse has been hired as regional director of operations. Starwood Retail Partners is the retail unit of Starwood Capital Group, a real estate investment firm.

St. Charles Capital has hired Michael D. Richter as a principal in its financial services group. Previously, Richter served as a managing director in the SBIC funds group at Commerce Street Capital. Based in Denver, Colorado, St. Charles Capital is a middle-market investment banking firm.

UK-based Inflexion Private Equity has named David Whileman as a partner. Previously, Whileman served as head of UK private equity at 3i where he was responsible for growth capital and buyout investments.

H.C. Wainwright & Co. has made two hires to its life sciences equity research group. Dr. Reni J. Benjamin and Caroline Y. Stewart have both been named managing directors and senior biotechnology analysts. Prior to joining HCW, Dr. Benjamin worked at Burrill & Company where he was a managing director and senior analyst while Stewart served as senior manager of US finance at Sanofi. Headquartered in New York City, HCW is an investment bank.

New York-based CTGrowth Partners said Friday that it has named John Hagan as a partner. Prior to joining CTGrowth Partners, Hagan founded Savage Partners and Ryan Paige Associates. A unit of CTP Partners, CTGrowth Partners is an executive recruitment firm that focuses on venture capital or private equty-backed companies.

Dallas-based private equity firm Trinity Hunt Partners said Thursday that it has promoted two staffers and hired an addition to its team. The company has upped Blake Apel and Jake Moore to vice president and associate, respectively. Also, it has named Leslie Kwang as an associate.

Digital advertising firm Amobee said Thursday that it has acquired Gradient X. No financial terms were disclosed. Headquartered in Santa Monica, Calif., Gradient X is a mobile marketing platform. It is backed by a number of investors that include Rincon Venture Partners, GRP Partners, Crosscut Ventures, Founder Collective, Double M Capital, Siemer Ventures and Baroda Ventures.

Harbert Private Equity Fund II said Thursday that it has sold its portfolio company Travis to an affiliate of Main Street Capital Corp. No financial terms were disclosed. VRA Partners advised Travis in this transaction. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Travis is a manufacturer of all-aluminum dump trailers.
