Lanier Parking Solutions has received undisclosed funding from New York private equity firm Antarctica Capital. Also, Jerry Skillett will become CEO of Lanier effective immediately. Skillett will be replacing Michael Robison, who is retiring. Based in Atlanta, Lanier is a provider of parking management services.
Baird Capital said Tuesday that it has promoted Roberto Ferranti from vice president to principal. Prior to working at Baird Capital, Ferranti was the vice president in the corporate recovery group of Mesirow Financial. Baird Capital is the private investment unit of Robert W. Baird & Co.
Tolt, a portfolio company of Clearlake Capital, has received an undisclosed amount of debt financing from Prospect. Based in Taylors, SC, Tolt is a information technology services company focused on the retail market.
Harbert Private Equity Fund III said Monday that it has acquired a majority stake in Central Environmental Services. No financial terms were disclosed. Central is a provider of environmental services to oilfield exploration and production companies in the Marcellus and Utica shale regions in West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
New York private equity firm Arsenal Capital Partners has acquired Kel-Tech. No financial terms were disclosed. PPHB advised Kel-Tech on the transaction while Syntal Capital Partners advised the Keller family. KeyBanc Capital Markets and Madison Capital Funding provided senior debt financing and funds managed by Sankaty Advisors and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company provided subordinated debt financing for the deal. Headquartered in Midland, Texas, Kel-Tech is a provider of oilfield chemicals for the Permian basin.
Management consulting firm Blue Ridge Partners has beefed up its senior leadership team with four new additions. Joining the company are Art Chivvis and Mark Hardy as managing directors; and Jim Ettamarna and Marten Leijon as principals. Previously, Chivvis worked at McKinsey & Company where he was a partner while Hardy was at Aurora Capital Group. Also, Ettamarna served as VP of strategy at Staples while Leijon was the CEO of MIX.
Interdealer broker Tullett Prebon said Monday that its alternative investments team has opened an office in Dubai to serve the Middle East market. Also, the company has added Dan Nolan to its London team. In his new position, Nolan seves as senior broker in charge of hedge fund distribution in Europe.
Directional Rentals, a portfolio company of Hicks Equity Partners, has acquired Directional Rentals, a portfolio company of Hicks Equity Partners, has acquired Reamco. No financial terms were disclosed. Also, Directional Rentals has renamed itself Drilling Tools International. Based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Reamco is a maker of stabilizers, drill collars, reamers and related products.
European Capital said Monday that it has received 27.4 million pounds from exiting its investment in DX's IPO. DX is a logistics and parcel distribution firm that operates throughout the UK and Ireland.
Alliance Laundry has closed its buy of Primus Group. No financial terms were disclosed. BMO Capital Markets advised Alliance Laundry on the transaction. Alliance Laundry is an indirect subsidiary of ALH Holding, a portfolio company of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan managed by Teachers' Private Capital. Primus Group, which is headquartered in Gullegem, Belgium, markets commercial washer-extractors, tumbler dryers, ironers and feeding and folding equipment under the Primus, Lavamac and Deli brands.
