EQT has sold its minority stake in Candyking to Accent Equity. No financial terms were disclosed. Candyking is a Swedish candy company.
Lightwave Logic has added George Lauro to its board of directors. Lauro was a managing director at Wasserstein Perella and head of West Coast technology investing. Based in Longmont, Colorado, Lightwave Logic is a producer of prototype electro-optic demonstration devices.
LA-based investment bank B. Riley has hired Steve Reiner as a managing director and head of consumer investment banking. Previously, Reiner worked at Skechers USA where he served as senior vice president of strategy & business development.
Attensity said Wednesday that it has raised $90 million in equity financing. According to the firm, the investors were an international private equity fund and a financial advisor company. Also, Attensity has named Howard Lau as CEO. Attensity is a provider of corporate insight solutions based on proprietary data contextualization for Fortune 1000 firms.
London Broadcasting Company, a portfolio company of SunTx Capital Partners, has agreed to sell six Texas-based television stations to Gannett Co. for $215 million in cash. The transaction is expected to be completed this summer. Following the closing, Phil Hurley, current executive vice president and COO of LBC, will join Gannett and run the six stations.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has agreed to provide a $60 million credit facility to CarePayment, a portfolio company of Aequitas Capital. Based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, CarePayment is a healthcare finance firm that helps people manage their out-of-pocket medical expenses.
