3i has sold Hilite to AVIC Electromechanical Systems Co., a subsidiary of Chinese industrial conglomerate AVIC, for approximately 473 million euros. Morgan Stanley Bank AG provided financial advice on the transaction. Headquartered in Marktheidenfeld, Germany, Hilite is a provider of automotive system solutions.
Numet Manufacturing Techniques, which is owned by Kidd & Company, has promoted Mark Roscio to president and CEO. The appointment is effective immediately. Also, the firm has promoted Scott Kokosa to chief financial officer. Based in Orange, Conn., Numet is a maker of precision metal components and assemblies for jet turbine engines.

Also, North Street has hired Scott Cohen as Hedge Solutions' managing director and head of West Coast operations. Based in Los Angeles, Hedge Solutions is a hedge fund administrator.
Permira said Thursday that it has named Brian Ruder as co-head of Permira’s global technology, media and telecommunications sector team. Ruder will co-head the TMT sector team with Richard Sanders. Ruder is a partner and head of the firm's Menlo Park, Calif. office. Also, the company has promoted Nic Volpi to partner. Volpi first joined Permira’s New York office in 2004 before relocating to Menlo Park in 2011.
Macquarie Capital has hired David Banmiller as a managing director in its U.S. oil and gas group in Houston. Previously, Banmiller worked at KeyBanc Capital Markets where he served as a senior member of the company's U.S. energy practice. Macquarie Capital is the corporate advisory and capital markets arm of Macquarie Group.
