EQT has agreed to acquire Independent Vetcare, a UK-based private veterinary group, from Summit Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. The deal is expected to close in early 2017. Jefferies served as financial adviser to Summit Partners on the sale of Independent Vetcare.
Gauge Capital has recapitalized and invested in Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Infosoft, a provider of regulatory compliance and recruitment solutions. No financial terms were disclosed for the transaction that was done with Infosoft owners and management. Also, Tom McKelvey, Whitney Bowman and James Jackson of Gauge Capital have been added to Infosoft's board of directors.
Scottish Equity Partners has sold Edinburgh, Scotland-based Skyscanner, a travel search company. The buyer is China-based Ctrip, an online travel services provider. No financial terms were disclosed.
PNC Bank NA has named Daniel Morihiro and Patrick Simpson as senior vice president; and Graham Holding as vice president to the senior secured financing team. Previously, Morihiro worked at BBVA Compass where he was senior vice president while Simpson was business development officer at Wells Fargo Capital Finance. Holding has been with PNC since 2007.
KarpReilly LLC, a consumer-focused lower mid-market private equity firm, has hit the $200 million target for its third fund, according to an SEC filing. In 2013, the firm's previous fund closed at $210 million.
Apollo Global Management has named Gary W. Parr as a senior managing director and co-chairman of the firm's management operating committee. Previously, Parr was a vice chairman at Lazard.
