Aquiline Capital Partners LLC, a New York-based financial services-focused private equity firm, have added Max Chee and Michael Cichowski to their team. Both Chee and Cichowski will work on developing the firm's tech growth fund. Previously, Chee worked at Millennium Technology Value Partners where he was a managing partner while Cichowski was a managing director at an unidentified family office.
Blackstone has agreed to acquire SESAC Holdings, a music rights organization, from Rizvi Traverse Management. No financial terms were disclosed. Allen & Company LLC is providing financial advice to SESAC on the transaction while Moelis & Company LLC and AGM Partners LLC are doing likewise for Blackstone. And, Goldman Sachs is serving as financial adviser to Rizvi. The deal is expected to close before the end of the first quarter of this year.
