Lynx FBO Network, a portfolio company of The Sterling Group, has acquired two locations at the Anoka County-Blaine Airport serving the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. They are Cirrus Flight Operations and Key Air Twin Cities. No financial terms were disclosed.
Middle East-based fund placement firm Greenstone Equity Partners has hired Sean Kearney as chief operating officer and Khalid Alkelabi as managing director of investor relationships. Previously, Kearney worked at UBS AG where his last role was senior executive officer for UBS Dubai Branch while Alkelabi worked at Al Fozan Holding Group where he served as the chief administrative officer.
New York Life Investments has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Greenwich, Connecticut-based Credit Value Partners, which specializes in high-yield and corporate debt investments. No financial terms were disclosed. Berkshire Capital Securities LLC provided financial advice to CVP on the transaction. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2017.
Chicago-based Mediafly, an enterprise software company, has secured $10 million in funding. The investor was Boathouse Capital. In addition to the funding, Andy Jang, vice president at Boathouse Capital, has been added to Mediafly's board of directors.
Primus Capital has made an undisclosed investment in Payspan. SunTrust Robinson Humphrey was financial adviser to Payspan. Based in Atlanta, Payspan is a provider of healthcare reimbursement solutions.
Capitala Finance Corp has exited its debt and equity investments in Drive Medical for $21 million. Drive Medical is a maker of durable medical equipment.
Transom Capital Group has acquired American Driveline Systems from American Capital Ltd. No financial terms were disclosed. Prudential Capital Group provided financing for the transaction while Rothschild Inc served as sell-side M&A adviser. Based in Horsham, Pennsylvania, ADS is the franchisor of AAMCO and Cottman Transmission & Total Auto Care brands.
GI Partners has acquired Seattle-based KOMO Plaza, a carrier hotel and data center facility. The price of the acquisition was $276 million.
London-based Weedingtech, a herbicide-free weed control company, has secured 3 million pounds in funding. The investor was Calculus Capital.
Graphite Capital has agreed to sell UK-based Micheldever Tyre Services, a distributor of car and motorcycle tires to Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. The price of the sale is 215 million pounds.
