NuTonomy, a developer of software for self-driving cars, has named Gretchen Effgen as vice president of partnerships. Previously, Effgen worked at CivicSmart where she served as executive vice president of mobility solutions. NuTonomy is backed by Highland Capital Partners,, Fontinalis Partners, Signal Ventures, Samsung Ventures and EDBI, the corporate investment arm of the Singapore Economic Development Board.
