The investor was Lovell Minnick Partners. American Discovery Capital served as financial adviser to Currency Capital on the transaction.
HGGC has made an undisclosed investment in Davies Group. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP served as financial and tax adviser to HGGC on the transaction. Based in London, Davies is an insurance and claims services provider.
Ampersand Capital Partners and 1315 Capital have agreed to acquire Genoptix's commercial laboratory. No financial terms were disclosed for the transaction that is being done in partnership with a management group led by Joseph M. Limber. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of this year. Based in Carlsbad, California, Genoptix is a hematopathology center.
Pelican Energy Partners has made an undisclosed investment in Global Heat Transfer. Piper Jaffray & Co provided financial advice to Global Heat Transfer on the transaction. With locations that include Edmonton and Houston, GHT focuses on making and repairing oil coolers, gas coolers and industrial cooling systems for the oil and gas, mining and power generation sectors.
Northlane Capital Partners has made an undisclosed investment in PAR Excellence Systems. Livingstone served as the sell-side adviser to PAR Excellence on the transaction. Based in in Cincinnati, Ohio, PAR Excellence is a provider of inventory management systems for the healthcare sector.
Harvest Partners SCF LP has acquired a minority ownership stake in Richmond, Virginia-based GPM Investments LLC, a convenience store company. The price of the transaction was $62.5 million. Raymond James provided financial advice to GPM on the transaction.
