Charlotte-based Frontier Capital, a growth equity firm, has promoted Seth Harward and Scott Hoch to partners. Previously, both were principals at the Frontier.
G Square Healthcare Private Equity LLP has closed its second fund at a hard cap of 350 million euros. The London-based firm invests between 30 million euros and 50 million euros of equity per transaction. Proskauer advised G Square on the fund-raising.
Lovell Minnick Partners LLC has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Foreside Financial Group LLC. No financial terms were disclosed. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of this year. Based in Portland, Maine, Foreside is a provider of regulatory compliance and distribution solutions for the investment management industry.
Austin, Texas-based Protect America, a provider of wireless home security systems, fire protection and home automation solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding. The investor was not named. Protect America is a portfolio company of Rockbridge Growth Equity.

Soaring Pine Capital has acquired Dayton, Ohio-based ETI Tech Inc, a provider of flight hardware parts for military aircraft and ground support equipment for the aerospace defense industry. No financial terms were disclosed.
ABRY Partners has agreed to acquire MobileHelp, a provider of mobile medical alert and personal health management solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. The deal is expected to close before the end of the first quarter of this year. Raymond James served as financial adviser to MobileHelp on the transaction.
