Two recent Stanford graduates have launched GoAhead Ventures, a $55 million fund seeking to invest in that university's undergraduate entrepreneurs. Phil Brady and Clancey Stahr, along with third managing partner Takeshi "TK" Mori, raised money from Japanese institutions, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals, as well as wealthy individuals and family offices in the U.S.

Los Angeles-based startup accelerator Amplify is seeking to raise $20 million for Amplify.LA Opportunity Fund. Amplify runs an entrepreneurial campus in Venice, California, where companies undergo four to eight months of collaboration and training. The firm kicks in between $50,000 and $200,000 in seed funding.
Greenspring Associates has raised $325 million for Greenspring Opportunities IV, L.P., hitting the target. The firm raised the target twice, first from the initial $225 million to $275 million in April.
Fifth Wall Ventures has raised $8.3 million for Fifth Wall Ventures SPV II, L.P. Based in Los Angeles, Fifth Wall is a venture firm focused on real estate, hospitality, and travel technology, led by managing partners Brendan Wallace and Brad Greiwe.
GAN Ventures is seeking to raise $10 million for its maiden fund. Based in Denver, Colorado, GAN Ventures is the investment arm of the Global Accelerator Network, and makes pre-seed and seed investments. Reilly Flynn and Pat Riley are co-founders and managing partners.
NewGen Capital is targeting $75 million for NewGen Capital II, L.P. Based in Palo Alto, California, the firm makes seed and early-stage venture investments in companies with disruptive technologies and innovative business models.
