The Chicago-based, middle-market lender and investor Monroe Capital has launched a new healthcare finance company to provide greater liquidity to middle-market healthcare companies. The new firm is called MC Healthcare Finance; it's being led by James Irwin, the former founder of Meridian Healthcare Finance; and it will target companies across the U.S.

Private equity deals in Israel fell dramatically in value if not in terms of pace in the third quarter, according to new data out of the IVC Research Center.
