Santen, an Emeryville, Calif.-based subsidiary of Japan-based Santen Pharmaceuticals, has entered into a research collaboration agreement with Clearside Biomedical of Alpharetta, Georgia, a company in which Santen, along with other financial backers, is also making an investment.
