HomeUnion, an online real estate investment management firm has completed a Series A financing round for $5.5 million with Artiman Ventures. The capital will be used to develop HomeUnion’s data analytics platform and to expand its development and technology teams.
Handbag brand Dagne Dover has raised $1.25 million. Investors in the seed round included David Bell, Fabrice Grinda, Dominic Cioffoletti, 2020 Ventures and First Round Capital's Dorm Room Fund.
Innova Memphis has reached a first close of its third venture capital partnership, Innova Fund III with $20 million in capital commitments. Innova invests in early-stage, high-growth companies. Innova was created by the Memphis Bioworks Foundation to help establish Memphis as a national center of excellence in entrepreneurship.
Alta Growth Capital has completed a final close of Alta Growth Capital, Mexico Fund II with $142 million in commitments. AGC Fund II is nearly double the size of Alta’s debut fund which closed in 2009.
CBPE Capital has sold The Original Bowling Company to Electra Partners. CBPE invested in the business in August 2010, acquiring a significant minority stake. The sale to Electra represents an investment multiple of 2.4x CBPE’s original investment.
AMW has secured follow-on financing to advance the development and marketing process for its drug delivery systems. BayBG Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft, UnternehmerTUM Fund and IBG Beteiligungsgesellschaft are joining existing investors in the round. AMW produces active ingredient implants and transdermal systems in the areas of oncology, pain therapy and neurology.
London based early stage children’s edtech specialist, Night Zookeeper has secured investment from the LBA Roundtable Syndicate Fund 2014. The company is a graduate of Telefonica-backed Wayra UK. The new round of funding will enable the company to develop more entertainment-focused mobile applications and stories and grow a rich IP suite using internal design expertise.
adjust has secured a $7.6 Million Series C investment by ACTIVE Venture Partners and existing investors Target Partners, Iris Capital and Capnamic Ventures. The business is an app analytics and attribution company.
ArchiMed has acquired Lausanne-based MediStream, a manufacturer and marketer of innovative orthopaedic implants. Archimed was founded earlier this year by Denis Ribon, former global head of healthcare at 3i and three of his former team members.
FundedByMe has secured funding from Link2Ventures. The investment value was undisclosed. FundedByMe is a crowd financing platform founded in April 2011 in Sweden with additional offices in Finland, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Italy, Germany and Singapore.
