The CapStreet Group has completed a majority recapitalization of Davis S R Aviation and Turbine Jet Specialties together known as Red Aviation in partnership with the senior management team. Founded in 2002 by Stephen and Karen Davis and headquartered in Georgetown, Texas, Red Aviation engages in the procurement, sale, repair and maintenance of business jet aftermarket parts and engines.
Biotechnology company Airway Therapeutics has secured $4.6 million in Series A financing. CincyTech led the round, with participation from Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Queen City Angels and private investors.

Futuris Automotive, a global automotive components supplier, has appointed Clearlake operating advisor and automotive industry veteran Joseph Gorga to its board of directors. The company has also expanded its North American business with the opening of a new manufacturing facility and design center in Newark, CA. Futuris was acquired by Clearlake Capital Group in September 2013.
CCMP Capital Advisors has closed CCMP Capital Investors III raising $3.6 billion. The new fund will back middle market companies in North America and Europe in the consumer/retail, industrial, energy and healthcare industries.
Looop, an online learning platform for startups and mid-sized businesses, has raised $2 million in funding from an online learning industry expert in Australia. The funding will be used to roll out the platform across the UK.
RBS Citizens has launched a new technology and services banking group. The group is led by veteran technology banker and industry executive William Egge, who joined Citizens last year to develop the national strategy for this business.
Doutissima, a South American health and well-being forum, has raised a seed capital round led by DFJ Esprit with participation from Breega Capital. The company also signed a strategic partnership with Telefonica-backed startup accelerator Wayra, also an investor in Doutissima.
